Before treatment

Consultations & prescribing

Some treatments require a separate consultation and clinical assessment before treatment can take place.

Prescription-only treatments require a face-to-face consultation with an appropriately qualified prescriber. Treatment may not always be carried out during your first appointment.

There is time to ask questions, understand the options and decide what feels right. A consultation does not commit you to treatment.

Informed care

Consent, suitability & aftercare

Accurate information and open communication help us assess suitability, explain risk and care for you appropriately before and after treatment.

Medical information & consent

Before treatment, all clients must:

  • Complete the relevant consultation forms.
  • Provide complete and accurate medical information.
  • Disclose known allergies and current medications.
  • Read and sign the relevant treatment consent forms.
  • Ask any questions before agreeing to treatment.

Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect treatment suitability, safety and outcomes.

Changes to your health

Please tell us before your appointment if there have been changes to your health, medication, allergies or medical history since completing your consultation form.

Contact us if you are unwell, have an active skin infection or have another concern that could affect treatment.

Your appointment may need to be postponed where treatment is not considered appropriate or safe.

Treatment suitability & results

Every client is different. All treatments are subject to consultation and, where appropriate, clinical assessment.

We may advise against or postpone treatment where it is not considered appropriate or safe. Results and longevity also vary between individuals and cannot be guaranteed.

Aftercare & treatment concerns

Treatment-specific aftercare will be provided where appropriate. Please follow the advice given and contact Straday Studio promptly if you experience an unexpected reaction or concern.

Urgent or severe symptoms: call 999 or seek urgent medical assistance where appropriate.

Private and secure

Clinical records are part of your care

Relevant notes and photographs help document treatment planning, progress and outcomes. They are stored securely as part of your confidential client record.

Records & photography

Your information is handled with care

Clinical photographs may be taken where appropriate for planning, records and progress.

Photographs will not be used for marketing, social media or promotional purposes without separate permission.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal, booking, treatment and website information is collected, used, stored and protected.
