Everything you need to know before visiting Straday Studio, including our appointment, payment, consent and treatment policies.
Your appointment
Clear, fair and created with your wellbeing in mind
We want every visit to feel calm, comfortable and well organised. Please take a moment to read the following information before booking or attending your treatment.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change. To allow us to offer appointments fairly to all clients, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellation charges will be applied fairly and will reflect the circumstances and loss associated with the cancelled appointment.
Emergency situations will always be considered individually. Please contact us as soon as possible if something unexpected happens.
Deposits & Payments
Certain appointments require a deposit to reserve your appointment time. Deposit requirements will be confirmed when your booking is arranged.
Deposits
- Your deposit will be deducted from your treatment balance.
- If you cancel or reschedule with sufficient notice, your deposit will be handled in accordance with the terms confirmed when booking.
- If an appointment is cancelled without the required notice, some or all of the deposit may be retained.
- Deposits cannot normally be transferred to another person.
Payments accepted
Payment is due at the time of treatment.
Consultations & Prescribing
Some treatments require a separate consultation and clinical assessment before treatment can take place.
Prescription-only treatments require a face-to-face consultation with an appropriately qualified prescriber. Treatment may not always be carried out during your first appointment.
No treatment will be provided unless it is considered clinically appropriate and safe for you.
Medical Information & Consent
Your safety is our highest priority. Before treatment, all clients must:
- Complete the relevant consultation forms.
- Provide complete and accurate medical information.
- Disclose all known allergies and current medications.
- Read and sign the relevant treatment consent forms.
- Ask any questions they may have before agreeing to treatment.
Failure to provide accurate information may affect treatment suitability, safety and outcomes.
Changes to Your Health
Please tell us before your appointment if there have been any changes to your health, medication, allergies or medical history since completing your consultation form.
You should also contact us if you are unwell, have an active skin infection or have any concerns that could affect your treatment.
Your appointment may need to be postponed where treatment is not considered appropriate or safe.
Treatment Suitability
Every client is unique. All treatments are subject to consultation and, where appropriate, clinical assessment.
In some circumstances, we may advise against or postpone treatment where it is not considered appropriate or safe. Your wellbeing will always come first.
Treatment results
Results can vary between individuals depending on several factors, including the treatment provided and individual response.
Individual outcomes
Specific results, outcomes or treatment longevity cannot be guaranteed.
Aftercare & Treatment Concerns
Treatment-specific aftercare information will be provided where appropriate. Clients are responsible for following the advice given to support safe healing and treatment outcomes.
Please contact Straday Studio promptly if you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns following treatment.
Urgent or severe symptoms should be treated as a medical emergency. Call 999 or seek urgent medical assistance where appropriate.
Clinical Records & Photography
Clinical photographs may be taken where appropriate to document treatment planning, progress and outcomes. These will be stored securely as part of your confidential client record.
Photographs will not be used for marketing, social media or promotional purposes without separate permission.

Appointment Etiquette
To help us maintain a calm and relaxing clinic environment, we kindly ask that you:
- Arrive on time for your appointment.
- Attend your appointment alone unless agreed with us in advance.
- Supervise children at all times if their attendance has been agreed.
- Park considerately and follow any parking guidance at the premises.
Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time or the appointment needing to be rescheduled.
Under-18 Policy
Straday Studio provides treatments to clients aged 18 and over only. Valid photographic identification may be requested before an appointment is confirmed or treatment is carried out.
A parent or guardian cannot provide consent on behalf of someone under 18 for treatments provided by Straday Studio.
This policy helps us maintain high standards of client safety, professional practice and compliance.
