What to Expect
How Dermal Filler Settles.
Early swelling is not the finished result. Your response is individual, so these stages are guidance rather than a guarantee.
Immediately After
Swelling, redness, tenderness, small injection marks or bruising can occur. The treated area may initially look fuller or feel firmer than the intended settled result.
First Few Days
Swelling can fluctuate and the treated area may temporarily feel firm or look uneven while the tissue settles.
Around Two Weeks
Much of the early swelling has usually settled, making it easier to assess the result. Individual healing time varies.

- Pregnancy, breastfeeding and important dates must be discussed.
Kia may recommend delaying treatment or deciding it is not suitable.
After Treatment

- Do not rub, press or massage the treated area unless Kia tells you to.
- Follow Kia’s advice about makeup, exercise, heat and alcohol.
- Plan around dental appointments and other facial treatments.

How much filler will I need?
There is no amount that suits everybody. Kia considers your facial structure, tissue quality, previous treatment and the degree of change you want before discussing an appropriate product and amount.
Will I look overfilled?
Kia takes a conservative, assessment-led approach. The proposed amount and likely degree of change are discussed before treatment, and doing less—or not treating—is always an option.
How long does dermal filler last?
Longevity varies with the product, treatment area, metabolism, facial movement, lifestyle and previous treatment. Kia will provide product-specific guidance, but an exact duration cannot be guaranteed.
What should I expect afterwards?
Swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, small injection marks and temporary firmness or unevenness can occur. You will receive individual aftercare and clear guidance on when to contact Straday Studio.
Can dermal filler be dissolved?
Some hyaluronic-acid fillers may be treated with hyaluronidase when clinically appropriate. Dissolving is a separate medical decision with its own risks, limitations and consent process; it is not a simple reset button.
Do I need a separate consultation first?
You can book a £30 aesthetics consultation when you are unsure what you need or want dedicated time to compare options. Kia will still complete a full assessment and consent process before any treatment.
