What This Treatment Is For

Support Your Skin, Rather Than Change Its Shape.

Polynucleotides are not dermal filler and are not designed to create facial volume.

They are injected into selected areas with the aim of supporting the skin’s own repair processes. Clients often explore this treatment when skin looks tired, feels less elastic or has developed fine lines or a crepey texture.

Changes emerge over time and vary from person to person. Together, you and Kia can discuss what may improve, which area is suitable and whether a course makes sense for you.

The focus is better-looking skin quality — not a different face.

Choose the Area

Where Would You Like to Focus?

Select the area closest to your concern. This is a starting point; your skin, goals and suitability are reviewed in person.

Under Eyes

Support for Delicate Under-Eye Skin

Under-eye polynucleotides may be discussed when the skin appears thin, crepey, tired or dehydrated. They do not replace lost volume in the way filler can, and they will not suit every cause of dark circles or eye bags.

What to Expect

How Polynucleotide Results Develop.

This is not an instant-volume treatment. Any visible improvement appears over time and your response will be individual.

  1. After Treatment

Temporary bumps or injection marks can appear, and the area may look red, swollen or bruised and feel tender.

  2. First Few Days

Visible bumps often settle first. Swelling or bruising may take longer, so follow the aftercare given by Kia.

  3. Following Weeks

Changes in hydration, texture or the appearance of fine lines may become more noticeable as your course progresses.

Timings and outcomes vary. Your review point will be based on the area treated, your course plan and how your skin responds.

Before Treatment

Tell Kia What Matters.

  • Share your health history, medicines and allergies.
  • Mention previous injectable or skin treatments.

Treatment may be delayed or declined when it is not suitable.

After Treatment

Follow Advice for Your Area.

  • Do not rub or press the area unless Kia advises you to.
  • Follow guidance on makeup, exercise, heat and alcohol.
  • Use the skincare and sun-protection advice you are given.
  • Contact Straday Studio if anything feels unexpected.

Questions, Answered

Polynucleotide FAQs

Straight answers about the treatment, courses and what to expect.

What are polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, the building blocks found in DNA and RNA. Products used in aesthetics are purified and formulated for injection into the skin. They are used to support skin quality rather than create the structure or volume associated with dermal filler.

What may polynucleotides help with?

Depending on the area and your skin, Kia may discuss hydration, texture, elasticity, fine lines or a tired and crepey appearance. Improvement cannot be guaranteed and the degree of change varies.

Are polynucleotides the same as dermal filler?

No. Dermal filler is generally used to add support, definition or volume. Polynucleotides are chosen for skin quality and do not provide the same structural change or immediate result.

How many sessions will I need?

Straday Studio offers courses of two, three or four sessions. The recommendation depends on the treatment area, your skin, previous treatment and the response you are hoping for.

When will I see a result?

Results are not immediate and may become more noticeable over the weeks following treatment. Timing and outcome vary, so your review will be planned around the area treated and your course.

What should I expect afterwards?

Small raised bumps, redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and injection marks can occur. Kia will give you area-specific aftercare and explain when to get in touch.

Are polynucleotide products derived from fish?

Many polynucleotide products used in aesthetics are derived from purified fish DNA. Tell Kia about any fish allergy or other allergy before booking. Suitability depends on the exact product and your medical history.

Do I need a separate consultation first?

You can book a £30 aesthetics consultation if you are unsure which skin treatment to choose or want dedicated time to compare options. Kia will still complete a full assessment and consent process before treatment.
